When we came together in loving partnership in 1998, we chose to explore and live our desire for spiritual community. We became Reiki Masters, taught Reiki classes out of our home, and hosted spiritual gatherings for our local community. In those gatherings, we learned about the Indigo Children, Native American ceremonies, and various forms of energy work. In 2000, we opened a store in our home that offered spiritual items from around the world including unusual books, stones and crystals, and other aids to yoga and meditation. It was with the opening of the store that we created The Inner Vortex - a name that symbolizes the vast world inside each of us.

In March of 2000, Mary became a central focus of The Inner Vortex. We began on an informal basis with small gatherings of friends who would speak with Mary; this has now evolved into regular public appearances. We bring Mary into different communities for introductory group gatherings as well as individual sessions that allow people to have more personal conversation with Mary. We also do personal sessions over the phone and in our home.

We are now thrilled to include half day, full day and weekend workshops along with week long adventure trips with Mary focusing on specific topics. These longer workshops offer a chance to be immersed in Mary's wisdom and draw on the joyful energy that comes with spiritual community. Our experience with Mary has brought such wonderful people into our lives, and we know that it is these connections that provide a playground for Mary's work to unfold.

In 2004, two of our successful gatherings were Living in Communion With Your Soul and Believe, Create, Become! We loved these workshops because people found their true sense of freedom to explore and become - people gained themselves and a deep appreciation for their own power in the creation of their lives. We often hear from people who have experienced Mary at a workshop and who have felt their passion for life re-ignited. We record each of the sessions, whether they are private or in a gathering, so that people can take a tape home with them and remind themselves of the wisdom they have heard.

We look forward to bringing Mary's message to the world in 2005. The energy is building; the excitement is growing. We are all active participants in the "awakening time" as Mary calls it.
