Don and Jacque both grew up in Illinois, the youngest of large families. They fell madly in love with each other somewhere in their mid-thirties and were married in 1998 at Starved Rock State Park, IL.

Don:

Don expresses his overriding passion for freedom through his bike riding where he experiences the sense of flying with his body, through meditation where he experiences the inward exploration of self, and his didgeridoo playing where his mind gives way to the rhythms that come through him. After being single until the age of 35, Don's marriage to Jacque and his role as stepfather to her two children have given him a new arena in which to express his love of life. Whether he is diligently practicing yoga, enjoying the outdoors with his dog Porter, or expanding his knowledge of spiritual traditions, Don's active desire is to expand his conscious participation in life. This desire is what Don brings to the experience that he and Jacque have with Mary.

Jacque:

Jacque has been viewing life through an uncommon perspective as far back as she can remember. When friends and co-workers describe her, they use words like "creative," "insightful" and "compasionate," they speak of her as one who is radiant with life, one who brings magic into a room, and one who carries wisdom and knowledge into whatever situation confronts her. She has brought these qualities into her career in social services as a Human Resource Specialist for the past thirteen years, into her family life with Don and their two teenage children, and more recently into her adventures as a Reiki Master and channeller of the spirit group known as Mary.


Jacque is someone who moves from one activity to the next with equal dedication and passion, and who brings her artful design to any project she embarks on from the items she creates for her home, to the team-building activities she invents and implements at work. In the year 2000, Don and Jacque began to meditate in order to tap into their inner wisdom and in Jacque's words in order to "experience the full realm of possibility - to know what is real in life."


The spirit group known as Mary came through Jacque in answer to that call and brought with them wisdom and guidance that has powerfully impacted their lives and the lives of the many people who have felt the resonance of the gifts they bring:

There is such a sense of well being."
